Nissan General Manager

Job Summary:
The Nissan General Manager at Mills Auto Group will be responsible for overseeing the operations and management of the Nissan dealership located in Newport News, Virginia. This individual will be a seasoned leader with experience in the automotive industry, with a proven track record of driving business growth and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. In this role, the General Manager will report directly to the Mills Auto Group Executive Team and will be responsible for all aspects of the dealership, including sales, service, operations, and finance.

Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time, salaried Executive position in the auto industry. Responsibilities:
- Drive business growth and profitability by effectively managing all aspects of the dealership, including sales, service, operations, and finance.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets for new and used vehicles.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring exceptional customer service at all touchpoints.
- Train, develop, and mentor the dealership staff to increase efficiency and profitability.
- Oversee and manage all dealership operations, including inventory, expense control, and compliance with industry regulations.
- Work closely with the Mills Auto Group Executive Team to develop and execute dealership business plans.
- Represent the dealership at community and industry events to maintain a positive reputation and promote brand awareness.
- Continuously monitor market trends and competitive activity to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive dealership management.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, develop, and lead a team.
- Proven track record of success in driving business growth and profitability.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the automotive industry, including sales strategies, operations, and finance.
- Working knowledge of CRM systems, automotive software, and technology.
- Ability to work flexible hours and weekends as needed.
- Must pass a background check and drug test.
