Job Description

3D drafting utilizing Solidworks
Pulling drafts from Autocad Inventor and putting it into Solidworks
Document control in internal Vault system within Solidworks to organize data
Defining and communicating engineering tolerances using GD&T
Some 2D drafting

Work Environment

They made retractable Optics Mounts. for both commercial and government planes.
They are going through a transition phase, a lot of their engineering team left - rebuilding in house staff.
Small team - 1 Design engineer right now, they are outsourcing some of their drafting right now but are still falling behind.
Flexible on hours - could work 1-2 days from home if needed
Business casual dress
Culture is important - need people who are willing to do things outside of their job description - smaller operation so they all pitch in where its needed.

Qualifications

2+ years of 3D drafting experience using Solidworks
GD&T experience
Experience using vault system within Solidworks
Experience or knowledge of Autocad

MUST HAVE

Experieince w/Solidworks

ITAR Compliant

Preferred

Autocad inventor experience, 2D drafting as well as 3D.
