A day in the life…

As a member of the Receiving / Shipping Team you will be working at a fast pace without sacrificing attention to detail.

• Load cartons, pallets, containers and fixtures/equipment in a variety of sizes and weights onto trailer (often overhead or while on ladder)
• Communicate effectively with personnel while loading trailers
• Operate pallet jack, dock-plate and other equipment, as necessary
• Material handling – repetitive bending, reaching, standing, walking and lifting up to 50 lb boxes on a daily basis
• Monitor conveyor equipment for jammed cartons and resolve issues
• Unload transfer cartons and stage to appropriate area
• Ensure physical inventory matches logical inventory in the warehouse management system
• Utilize best practices following Standard Operating Procedures
• Flexible Hours start time varies from as early as 5:30 am and as late as 2:00 pm depending on the department or season of the year.
• Comply with job rotation and work where designated within the building as needed
• Inspect and record damaged or suspect cases; unload transfer cartons
• Deliver productivity through the efficient use of time and a commitment to strong results
