A successful Application Support Analyst will have the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in CIS or other technical area and at least 4 years of professional experience; or equivalent professional experience in the relevant technologies
  • Advanced System Administrator and EBS best practices knowledge 
  • Ability to quickly learn custom processes
  • Strong documentation and communication skills with a customer focused approach
  • Must have the ability to articulate ideas, written and verbal, to technical and non- technical internal and external professionals

The Staff Analyst/Developer will be part of a team that is responsible for 24X7 support for our production environment.  The daily job activities include but are not limited to resolving production broke issues quickly and effectively.  In doing so, we also apply one of Dish’s core values, ‘Do it right the first time’, by making sure the problem is fixed at root cause.  In addition to production support, the job also entails working on ERP projects, design analysis, reviewing requirements with development, and assisting with UAT/training. 

 

 

Primary responsibilities fall into the following:

  • Responsibilities include analysis, implementation, and support
  • Proficient with tools used to support Oracle Application including, but not limited to PL/SQL, SQL*Plus, Forms, Reports, Workflow, My Oracle Support, OA Frameworks
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle database structures, API's, Interfaces, Linux, SFTP, and Customizations 
  • Installed R12 modules include HR (Advanced Benefits, OTL, CWB), Financials (AP, AR, GL, FA)  and Supply Chain (INV, PO, OM, iProcurement)
  • Perform system administrator tasks
  • Maintain a healthy relationship with Development, DBA’s and Internal customers
  • Create operation run books and document process flows
