Guest Service Ambassador Supervisor is part of the Guest Service Department and will be responsible for facilitating extraordinary guest service and guest recovery. Service Recovery will include helping assist with the Epic Service Solutions check books with the resort COO’s Executive Assistant in addition to facilitating all other areas of guest recovery including issuing and refunding products through Resort Point of Sale, handling guest equipment and clothing repair, cleaning and replacement as appropriate. The position reports to the Assistant Manager of Guest Services, supervises the Ski School Ambassador team and will require strong intermediate skiing or riding skills at level 7 or better. 

The position requires strong networking and communication skills as well as attention to detail and proactively completing projects; and requires a full knowledge of our products, services and activities offered through our Ski School, Ticket Offices and Resort Company. This position is also responsible for assisting in the management of the Lost and Found operation and Charger back application. We are looking for a guest service oriented individual who is positive and outgoing, operates with a high level of computer proficiency, including Resort Point of Sale, has a passion for the outdoors, and takes pride in their work. This individual will be responsible for working collaboratively with a high performing, interactive and visible guest service team. 

Other duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Monitor overall quality of guest service at The Guest Service Center and throughout Beaver Creek
  • Supervise daily operations for the Ambassador team
  • Responsible for managing Ambassador schedules
  • Support White Carpet Club
  • Hire, train and motivate high performing guest service focused staff
  • Resolve guest service issues
  • Knowledgeable on products available at Ski School and Ticket offices
  • Build relationships with the BC Resort Company and other entities to enhance the guest experience
  • Level 7 skiing or riding ability
  • Ability to resolve guest relation and/or product issues in an expedient manner, de-fuse upset guests, and deliver exceptional service
