Medical Director

We have an excellent leadership opportunity for a full-time Facility Medical Director to join our team at Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, Florida. We ask that you be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology with leadership experience preferred. Along with clinical duties, Facility Medical Director responsibilities will include but are not limited to supporting full and competent staffing of the practice, overseeing and directing the anesthesia program as a unified division through all care delivery areas, creating practice staffing schedules, providing visible and responsible medical leadership for anesthesia services, meeting regularly with hospital administration and other key stakeholders to discuss expectations, improving initiatives, etc, Quality, Regulatory Compliance, and Performance Improvement duties and attend Teamhealth leadership conferences and leadership development meetings.
