Fire Watchman - $13.79 per hour - Moncure, NC

Job DescriptionLocation: Moncure, NCPay: $13.79 Per HourShifts Available: 7AM-PM or 7PM-7AM FIRE WATCH RESPONSIBILITIES- Complete and maintain the Fire Watch Log documenting; building, location, name, date/time beginning and ending, and signature by fire-watch.- Have fire extinguishing equipment readily available and be trained in its use.- Be familiar and trained in procedures for sounding an alarm in the event of a fire- Be familiar and trained in the operation of appropriate fire extinguishing equipment - Watch for fires in all exposed areas, and only attempt extinguishing incipient stage fires, or otherwise notify all personnel.- Maintain coverage during breaks and lunch (Supervisor issuing the permit makes this determination.)- Watch the area for at least an hour after completion of welding or cutting operations to detect and extinguish possible smoldering fires. Monitor hot work area for up to an additional three (3) hours after the one (1) hour fire watch (the 3 hour watch is just a periodic check of the area where the hot work was performed). - Sign -Fire Watch Sign Off- on part 2 of the permit;- After the fire watch is done, if fire protection equipment was used, place the fire protection equipment back into operational use.- Notify monitor that Fire watch process is complete and when to begin.**Interested Candidates should submit their resumes to hannah.hill@kellyservices.com or call 919-708-5227** Why Kelly®?At Kelly Services®, we work with the best.
