Job Description
As our Call Center Representative (CSR), you will help us build our new Contact Center to support our patients, hospitals, employees, and physicians. The Contact Center is our communication hub linking our internal and external callers. In addition, we'll provide you with training on our systems & processes. This role is available on a contract-to-hire basis!
Every day you will have a direct impact on the patient experience. You will handle each call with care, escalate when needed (monitor & respond to life safety events), and you will be prepared to handle 300+ calls during your shift (average call is 23 seconds). You'll quickly determine how to route each call, treat them with kindness and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
To thrive in this role, you have a passion for helping others, listening and assessing each caller's needs, and being able to handle difficult situations. In addition, your knowledge and experience in customer service make you a top candidate for this role.
•Answer all inbound calls
•Maintains proficiency in the use of telecommunications hardware and software and PBX platform as well as multiple IT applications.
•Initiates response to “codes” and emergency alarms
•Makes emergency announcements
•Proper use of communication tools/materials for effective communication and understanding how the culture(s) of patient populations can affect communication, collaboration, and the provision of care, treatment, and services.
-Customer service or administrative experience preferred
-Strong communication skills, adaptability, and willingness to learn
-HS diploma/equivalent required
