MES Developer

Job Purpose:
The MES Developer I is responsible for developing and maintaining MES solutions for projects.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop, document, maintain, and support MES applications.
• Communicate effectively with supervisor, team members.
• Travel to customer sites is required.
• Travel for training opportunities may be required.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
• Able to develop PLC code for controllers such as Allen Bradley and Siemens.
• Able to develop UI on various platforms such as Ignition and utilizing scripting languages like Python and VBA.
• Able to develop and optimize SQL queries.
• Able to communicate effectively with supervisor and team members.
• Able to learn new skills to stay current with modern programming languages and tools.

Required Qualifications:
• Associates degree in Information Systems, Industrial Controls, or related field or 4 years relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
• B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field of study
