Sales or Management Trainee Agriculture

A full service agronomy, grain, and feed center is looking for a full-time, year-round employee. This candidate will learn the business from the ground up and with experience (either newly acquired or that they already have) will be promoted to a management/sales position. This is an opportunity for an experienced candidate to get into a great company, but an entry-level candidate with farming, equipment operating experience are encouraged to apply. Example for a custom applicator candidate is below, but comparable grain, feed or farming experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain large sprayer and floater equipment over customer fields
• Operate GPS/Autosteer technology that goes along with the machines
• Apply fertilizer and chemicals both safely and efficiently
• Light mechanical duties to keep equipment maintained
• Mix and deliver chemicals - Tender other operators
• Work full-time hours with overtime as needed
• Scout grower fields and professionally interact with customers when necessary
• Pass DOT physical, drug test, and obtain a Class A CDL
• Obtain an Applicator's License

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
