Aggregate Operator - County Materials Spring Valley

We are seeking an Aggregate Operator for our customer, County Materials.

Job Duties

• Operate front end loader, dozer, excavator or other heavy mobile equipment
• Runs aggregate crushing, screening and wash plant
• Provides routine and preventative maintenance on aggregate plant
• Fixes and repairs plant breakdowns
• Watches for and fixes any safety or environmental hazards or noncompliance issues
• Coordinate with quality control to ensure aggregate specifications
• Ensure inventory (stockpile) is moved as needed
• Manage excessive dust by watering the roads
• Ensure a critical supply of parts are in stock and available in case of a breakdown
• Coordinate with dump drivers to ensure correct product is loaded on trucks
• Coordinate with scale operator to communicate customer orders
• Communicate with customers to ensure correct product is loaded and provide good service

Work Environment

• Work in indoor and outdoor weather conditions, including extreme hot or cold temperatures
• Work near moving machinery and equipment - could include electrical hazards
• Work in a noisy environment

• Sitting

• Standing / Walking / Climbing
• Squatting/Crouching/Kneeling/Bending
• Pushing / Pulling / Reaching Above Shoulder

Experience & Qualifications

• 1-2 experience in related field preferred
