Sanitation Worker: Monticello, WI
Our customer in Monticello, Wisconsin is seeking to fill a full-time Sanitation Worker position. As the Sanitation Worker you would be responsible for performing routine cleaning on production equipment and overall facility cleanliness. Using different types of chemicals and sanitation equipment such as foamers, steam hoses, COP tanks and CIP systems. This position requires strict adherence to GMP, sanitation, safety, timekeeping, and personal conduct rules.
Responsibilities of the Sanitation Worker:
- Operate and certification for Forklift, pallet jack and walkie forklift.
- Conduct CIP and COP tank verifications (i.e., Chemical concentrations, flow, time, and temperature).
- Communicate any food safety related issues to supervisor or managers.
- Observe facility and equipment conditions to ensure in good condition and in compliance.
- Perform and follow SSOP’s on production tools and equipment.
- Document sanitation and production checks.
- Follow proper GMP’s, PPE’s and chemical handling practices.
- Tear down production equipment for cleaning throughout facility.
- Use foaming equipment and scrub facility equipment.
- Understand chemical usages and purposes.
- Verify equipment cleanliness after cleaning practices.
- Follow facility color coding program to cleaning methods.
- Complete Master Sanitation Schedules on a timely matter
Sanitation Worker Requirements and Qualifications:
- Sanitation experience in a food production environment
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Possess organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to pay close attention to the details
- Capable of following directions given; consistency is crucial to the position
- Must have proficient manual dexterity to perform routine functions
Pay for Sanitation Worker: $17.99/hour plus shift differentials.
