Sanitation – 3rd Shift - Full-time / Part-time

Position Title: Sanitation – 3rd Shift

Wage: $21.00 per hour

Shift: 3rd

Hours: 10:00pm-6:30am

QPS Employment Group has a great Sanitation position available at a company in Monroe, WI. This is a 3rd shift position with the opportunity for hire. 

Sanitation Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- This position involves all sanitation functions in the production & packaging facility. General sanitations functions including but not limited to; correct machine disassembly/assembly, chemical handling/dispensing, foaming, scrubbing, sweeping, CIP/COP operations, etc.
- Use many different types of chemicals and sanitation equipment such as foamers, steam hoses, COP and CIP systems.
- Because of the very sensitive nature of their product, proper sanitation technique and great attention to detail is crucial.
- Must be able to follow written procedures for sanitation including chemical use, cleaning methods, and safety requirement/rules.
- Accurate record keeping as required by the position.
- Required to report unsafe conditions or practices to Plant Management.
- Required to correctly and safely tear down equipment and perform sanitation tasks as trained by your Lead Person and / or Supervisor.
- Must follow all GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices).
- May be required to use a powered pallet lift truck (if required by your position).

Sanitation Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk with frequent bending, twisting, pushing, and squatting during entire workday.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. repetitively (depending on line position).
- Ability to frequently be on knees inspecting and cleaning undersides of equipment or up on ladders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced sanitation environment.
- Must maintain a high degree of personal hygiene.
- It is imperative that this person is able to read and write so as to effectively communicate in the plant and understand procedure, policies and processes.
- High School diploma or equivalent is desired but, not required.
- Food plant sanitation experience helpful.
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job as described in this document.
- Must be honest and dependable.
- Must be able to work in a clean but often times steamy, wet, and moderately noisy environment.
