Medical Assistant - Full-time / Part-time

Attention experienced Medical Assistants! Great employment opportunity available!

Job Duties:

Verifies patient information by interviewing patient; recording medical history; confirming purpose of visit.

EMR scheduling and working with Microsoft excel.

There are 2 Float positions and 2 Permanent locations.

Qualifications:

-Minimum of 1yr working experience (Not including Externship) in a Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Pediatric setting
-EMR Experience - We utilize Centricity and not having candidate work with any EMR systems make it difficult to streamline the training
-Pediatric Experience - Working experience with Pediatric population (administer shots, familiar with periodicity table, VFC & CHDP familiarity, Well Child visits or Physicals)
-Insurance familiarity - Eligibility experience of Medical Website, Medicare, HealthNet Portal, BlueCross Availity Portal
-Medical Assistant experience with adult population
-Reception Experience (Handle multiple line phones, check patients in and out)
