About this job
Aerotek has a 2nd shift Quality Inspection position available with a leading manufacturing company in the Monticello area. M-F; 3-11
Responsibilities
Verify product conformance through extensive use of DCC-CMM, advanced inspection tools, gauges and visual and mechanical inspection methods
Interpret and work from detailed engineering drawings, 3D models, external - internal specifications and requirements
Participate in design reviews, APQP, PPAP and CAR cross functional teams to ensure that conformance to specifications, inspect ability, reliability, safety and quality system objectives are met
Prepare detailed inspection documentation such as written descriptions of inspection results including deviations from engineering specifications
Responsible for daily maintenance of CMM machines and other inspection tools and gauges
Analyze inspection reports to determine adherence to drawings, specifications, processing procedures to insure quality of manufacture
Write, update and improve quality procedures as required
Follow all ISO 9001 Requirements, Safety, Policies and Procedures.
Qualifications
CMM layout
Proficiency in surface plate tools and techniques
Use of common gauges and measurement instruments for inspection purposes
