Reporting to the Global Procurement Organization, the Sr. Sourcing Manager will be responsible for the development and execution of high value procurement related activities and projects in the North America region. This position requires a highly dynamic individual that will pivot between a set of categories including Marketing, IT, and Professional Services while simultaneously operating as the liaison for our Procurement Operations team relative to execution of incoming sourcing requests. The Sr. Sourcing Manager will leverage sourcing tools and processes to facilitate market research, identify optimal procurement scenarios, and facilitate supplier negotiations, while ultimately driving annual savings targets, improved efficiency and optimization of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). This individual will be expected to build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders while driving optimal value for eBay. eBay Inc. Coordinate and delegate incoming procurement requests from all employees. Direct purchases for assigned high value spend along with ad hoc requests as required by business units. Operate as key contact for Procurement Operations team relative to incoming sourcing requests, as well as support Marketing and other categories as needed. Partner with internal and external stakeholders to capture and develop key requirements and work to direct into appropriate buying channels in order to extract maximum value. Independently manage and implement sourcing projects impacting multiple business units inclusive of financial viability analyses, supplier risk, negotiation plans, and supplier selection. Operate as the decision point relative to execution of sourcing strategies including RFx, multi-bid, market test, direct negotiations, and catalog negotiations. Develop, create and foster new projects for assigned high risk large spend products and services. Create contract requests and operationalize contracts for high value procurement activities. Analyze procurement spend to provide visibility on key savings opportunities and assist in developing a roadmap for achieving savings targets.
