Position Title: Marketing Specialist
Reports to: HR Manager
Classification: Hourly
Department: Corporate
Purpose of Position: The Brand Ambassador will promote the company, its products and employees, in a positive and authentic manner. Use influence and social networks to help build our brand and drive engagement with our customers and employees.
Essential Functions: (must be able to perform these functions, with or without reasonable accommodation).
- Knowledge and understanding of the company's products or services
- Interact with customers, potential customers, and the general public to create a positive brand image
- Spearhead social media engagement, in-person events, and online marketing
- Build and maintain relationships with key individuals in the industry or community to enhance the company's visibility and reputation.
- Create content for blog posts, videos, or social media posts that highlight the brand's products or values.
- Gather feedback from customers and potential customers to the company to improve products, services, or marketing strategies.
- Align with the company's brand, values, and image in your behavior, appearance, and communication.
- Participate in events, trade shows, or promotional activities to represent the company or coordinate with others to do so
- Assist in the sales process by providing information or demonstrations of products.
- Track and provide reporting or data on the impact of marketing efforts
- Be adaptable to different marketing strategies or campaigns.
- Mastery of all social media platforms
- Strong organizational and coordinating abilities
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Time management of self and others
- Ability to support, guide and direct others at all levels of the organization
- Strong computer skills in various programs including Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Developer
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in English effectively
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Degree in marketing or advertising preferred or equivalent years of experience
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull, maximum lift – 100 lbs.; frequently lift/carry – up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to see within normal range of vision with or without corrective lenses.
- Must be able to use hands, wrists, and fingers repetitively.
- Must have exceptional eye-hand coordination.
- Must regularly be able to reach overhead.
- Must regularly be able to squat, bend, twist, and stand.
- Must be able to walk around regularly using steps occasionally.
- Must be able to see within normal range of vision with or without corrective lenses.
- Must be able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and reach with manual dexterity.
- Work inside in controlled temperature
- Work outside in temperatures ranging from extreme heat to extreme cold.
- Occasionally work near moving parts and in outside weather conditions.
- Work with small store equipment.
