**Starting no less than $43,925
The Employment Specialist is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout the organization. This will be achieved through the development of recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. The Employment Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent. Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives for recruiting diverse talent in a multi-site organization.
- Partner with hiring managers to forecast and develop plans for key staffing initiatives.
- Assist with full cycle recruiting process to meet the various staffing goals across all levels within multiple business units.
- Create and implement employment strategies to attract passive job seekers.
- Develop strong relationships and partner with hiring manager and the executive team.
- Work closely with Hiring Managers to maximize effectiveness of recruiting process.
- Assist with tracking and reporting key metrics designed to measure and predict staffing activity (Time-to-Fill and New hire engagement surveys).
- Regular follow up with the respective hiring managers and candidates to ensure timeliness of recruitment process.
- Assist with maintaining career opportunities section on Medical Service Company's website.
- Maintain employee personnel files.
- Avoids legal challenges by understanding current legislation; enforcing regulations with managers; recommending new procedures; conducting training.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
- Other HR related duties as assigned by the Director, Human Resources
- 1-2 years of Staffing/Recruitment experience, strong understanding and ability to recruit in all levels of the organization from entry level to professional staff.
- Experience with HR software or Microsoft office products, a plus.
- 2-year degree from a recognized college or university, 4-year degree preferred, can be replaced with 1-2 years HR experience
- Excellent inter-personal, communication, time management skills and team-based project experience.
- Clear understanding of the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle processes
- Must have experience on mapping and sourcing resumes from all sources.
