Assistant Production Manager Essential Functions:

·         Supervise production personnel, including delegation of work, evaluating, etc.

·         Maintain thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment.

·         Verifies production counts from previous day.

·         Verifies first part production is ready.

·         Verifies all production paperwork and boards are properly filled out.

·         Acquire production packets as needed.

·         Prepare production staffing schedule in absence of production manager.

·         Fill in as needed when production supervisors are absent.

·         Run production and operate machinery as needed.

·         Monitor/document productivity of cell to meet/exceed standards, including controlling downtime and effectively utilizing employee time.

·         Exceed average standards of attendance.

·         Ensure safety guards and personal protective equipment are always used throughout the department.

·         Follow Work Instructions, procedures, and company policies, including safety procedures.

·         Maintain good housekeeping throughout the department.

Assistant Production Manager Requirements: 

·         Ability to sit for long periods of time

·         Ability to maneuver the facility

·         Ability to operate various office equipment, including a computer, phone, copier, & fax machine

·         Minimum of 3 years manufacturing experience

·         Basic knowledge of computer skills, including Excel & Word

·         Ability to communicate with all levels of internal and external personnel

·         Ability to read, write, and comprehend written and oral instructions

Pay: $60,000-$80,000 yearly Based on Experience
