Now Hiring Registered Behavior Technician | Travel Incentive Available

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team on a contracted basis within a local school system. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, particularly those with special needs, and a commitment to providing exceptional behavioral support services.

Responsibilities:

• Implement behavior intervention plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) or other supervising professionals.
• Provide direct one-on-one and small group behavior therapy sessions.
• Collect data and monitor progress towards individualized goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school personnel to ensure consistency in implementing behavior management strategies.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
• Attend team meetings and training sessions as required.

Requirements:

• Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification within a specified timeframe.
• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred.
• Experience working with children with special needs, particularly within a school setting, is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow behavior intervention plans and adapt strategies as needed.
• Reliable transportation to travel between school locations within the district.
