Accounts Payable Clerk

We are providing an opportunity for a meticulous and organized individual to join our team as an Accounts Payable Clerk in the financial services industry. Based in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, the role involves handling various accounting tasks, including managing vendor relationships, processing accounts payables, and maintaining financial records.

Responsibilities:
• Processing accounts payables with precision and efficiency
• Building and maintaining strong vendor relationships
• Posting financial transactions accurately
• Maintaining and updating expense reports
• Balancing general ledger accounts
• Utilizing Microsoft Excel to manage and organize data
• Ensuring accurate coding and entry of invoices
• Collaborating with the accounting team to streamline processes and improve efficiency.• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) procedures and operations
• Demonstrable ability to code invoices effectively and accurately
• Experience with entering invoices into an accounting system
• Skilled in using Microsoft Excel for data analysis and record keeping
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• Previous experience in a similar role within the Financial Services industry is advantageous.
