Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.

Calling on Speech-Language Pathologists who would like an opportunity to work in an education setting in the north county of San Diego! Soliant is seeking ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologists for a contract assignment to finish out the school year.

This is a mid-sized school district with a sizeable Speech team. Additional details about building assignments, caseloads, and workload will be shared in a direct interview with school administrators, following a successful phone screening with Soliant representatives.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders
  • California SLP license or Clinical Rehabilitative Services credential

As a school-based SLP, you will:

  • Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs.
  • Determine if new referrals qualify for services
  • Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders.
  • Develop individualized education plans and present them to parents, school administrators, and others involved with student evaluations.
  • Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload.
  • Provide reports of a students progress to parents.
  • Organize student caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school.
  • Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development.
