Accounting Clerk

We are in search of a Accounting Clerk to join our team located in Appleton, Wisconsin. The successful candidate will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities within the realm of Accounting, with a focus on credit and customer relations. This role offers a contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Processing customer credit applications in a timely and accurate manner

• Maintaining precise records related to customer credit

• Addressing and resolving customer inquiries related to credit

• Monitoring customer credit accounts and initiating appropriate action for delinquent payments

• Conducting account reconciliation tasks as required • Handling accounts payable and accounts receivable duties

• Managing billing processes and ensuring accuracy • Utilizing software such as Microsoft Dynamics and Microsoft Office

• Running reports related to credit and accounting as needed

• Participating in audit cycles to ensure regulatory compliance

• Performing data entry tasks and invoice processing as necessary.

• Minimum of two years of experience as an Accounting Clerk or in a similar role
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience in Billing and Invoice Processing
• Strong data entry skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks
• Knowledge of Oracle and SAP software
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• High level of interaction with internal and external clients
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team.
