Registered Nurse Job Available in West Virginia - 13 Week Contract

Description:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel position in Home Health. This role offers a guaranteed 40 hours per week, providing essential care to patients in the comfort of their homes. The position is based in New Martinsville, WV, and involves a 13-week contract.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a home health setting.
• Utilize charting systems such as HomeCare/HomeBase and Oasis for accurate documentation.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop personalized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Educate patients and their families on disease management and self-care techniques.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure holistic patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and progress notes.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines.

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in West Virginia.
• Minimum of six months experience in home health nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
• Proficiency in charting with HomeCare/HomeBase and Oasis systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Flexibility to work Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.
• Willingness to travel between patient homes, with mileage reimbursements provided.
