Full-Time Job - Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist Assistant SLPA - Near Electra TX

Job Description:
As a Full-Time School-Based SLPA, you will play a crucial role in helping students overcome communication challenges and achieve their educational goals. Your responsibilities will include conducting assessments, developing individualized education plans (IEPs), delivering evidence-based interventions, and collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication needs.
Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Valid SLPA licensein the state of Texas.
• Experience working in a school setting or with school-aged children is desirable.
• Knowledge of special education procedures, IEP development, and Medicaid billing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload of approximately 40-45 students.
• Proficiency in conducting assessments and utilizing therapy techniques for various speech and language disorders.
• Familiarity with technology and software used in speech-language pathology.
