Provides technical support to Retirement Plan Services Administration as their main RPSS contact for plan related questions, inquiries, and research requests. Responsible for maintaining the accuracy of plan and participant balances on a daily basis. Responsible for processing fees, new loan setups, plan and participant level maintenance, reconciliation for statement preparation, contributions, loan payment processing, and corrections.Job Accountabilities * Processes routine and non-routine transactions including, but not limited to, participant enrollments, QDRO's, address changes, name changes, status changes, fees, insurance premiums, dividends, participant fund transfers, fund accruals, loan payments, and employee and employer contributions. Utilizes and follows standard procedures, and regulatory requirements to accurately process these transactions, completing them in the order of priority and date received to ensure that all processing deadlines are met while following standard department turnaround times. * Performs ongoing retirement plan loan analysis and maintenance. Generates new/re-financed and modified plan participant loans. Generates all appropriate supporting loan documents, including the amortization schedule, confirmation and disclosure statement, and loan modification notice. Utilizes the Recordkeeping system and internal Access Database to generate the proper documentation and disclosures. Analyzes the loan applications submitted by the participant to determine regulatory compliance. Generates and reviews monthly participant loan delinquency reports and works in conjunction with Administration to determine the proper course of action for each loan. Resolution could include participant notification, deemed distribution, exception processing for approved leave of absence or military service leave of absence. The course of action determined is based on expert knowledge of IRC 72(p), internal procedures and record keeping guidelines. * Responsible for complex and non-complex plan and participant corrections required within the record keeping trust accounting systems. Uses own knowledge base of retirement plans, regulatory resources and stated department and company procedures to collaborate with RPS Administration, analyze the error and come up with the most effective solution while taking into account its affect on quarterly reporting, the participants, and compliance testing. Adequate documentation is retained to provide a detailed record of the situation. * Serves as the main contact to RPSS administration for plan related questions, inquiries, report and research requests. Provides superior customer service to our internal and external customers. This includes but is not limited to, the Administrative staff, Customer Care and the Trust Operations staff. * Reconciles all retirement plan fund assets and cash for assigned plans on a daily basis, accounting for all discrepancies. Ensures that the retirement plans are reconciled and in compliance with the terms of the plan document. Follows internal procedures and checklists and uses own knowledge base regarding retirement plan processing & regulations to ensure accurate processing and full compliance. * Reconciles and prepares all quarterly reports to ensure accuracy prior to participant statements being prepared and distributed. This process includes balancing all transactions by tax code, between the record keeping system and the trust accounting system, researching and correcting any discrepancies, preparing the appropriate reports for RPS Administration, and verifying a sampling of participant statements.
