Accounts Payable- County Materials

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Team member for our customer, County Materials located in Marathon City, WI

Job Duties:

* Code invoices with correct general ledger numbers for locations and expenses.

* Enter invoices for payment.

* Scan, email, and deliver invoices to the correct approvers for approval.

* Enter use tax, temp labor, and project information on spreadsheets.

* Answer calls regarding payment statuses.

* Print, date stamp, and paperclip approved invoices for payment.

* Send out tax exemption certificates.

* Set up new vendor accounts in SXE.

* Print checks, fold, and mail.

* Call vendors about payment statuses or open invoices.

* Reconcile monthly statements from vendors.

* Prepare credit applications.

* Follow procedures and internal controls for authorized approvals.

Work Environment:

* Office working environment.

Physical Requirements:

* Sitting frequently.

* Carrying/Lifting 10 - 40 Pounds rarely.

* Standing / Walking / Climbing.

Experience & Qualifications:

* Associate'sdegree in Accounting preferred.

* 0-2 years experience in a related field preferred.

* Must be proficient in Microsoft products.

* Excellent communication skills.

* Good mathematical skills.

* Pro-active, multi-tasked, self-motivated team player and positive attitude is a must.

* Accuracy and detail-oriented.
