DevOps Engineer I

Summary

As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will be instrumental in integrating security into our software development and operations. Your role involves automating and securing workflows, ensuring optimal system performance, and maintaining the integrity of our software services.

Essential Functions

• Develop and maintain security integrations with SCA, SAST, secrets scanners, and IAC scanners.
• Craft API integrations for service communication, particularly for scanning services and findings aggregation.
• Configure and deploy secure infrastructure and software systems across on-premises and cloud environments, including AWS and Azure.
• Monitor software services for optimal performance and security, and conduct incident response when necessary.
• Update software, perform configuration changes, and execute system maintenance with a focus on security.
• Document operational processes, automation code, and security practices clearly.
• Support software development and CI/CD processes through automation and scripting.
• Administer engineering tools, ensuring secure build systems and source control repositories.
• Engage in security analysis, review security findings, assess their validity, and communicate their impact to product teams.
• Demonstrate support for company culture and continuous improvement in alignment with ISO standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in automation and scripting with languages such as Bash, Python, and PowerShell.
• Understanding of Docker, Linux, Terraform, and cloud technologies.
• Ability to perform security analysis and communicate findings effectively.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, including developers, DevSecOps engineers, and IT security personnel.
• Eagerness to learn and address knowledge gaps.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
• Team player who is self-motivated and can work with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel as necessary.
• U.S. Citizenship may be required for certain roles.
