Fluid Recovery Technician

Job Snapshot:

• Our Fluid Recovery Technicians are responsible for safely draining fluids and recovering valuable and/or reusable components from scrap autos
• Ensuring that automobiles are safe for customer access
• Removing all fluids, lubricants and valuable components (ie: converters) as required
• Preparing automobile to be placed in the salvage yard
• Maintaining safe and clean work area
• Completing paperwork as required

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Demonstrate mechanical abilities
• Must be able to use basic tools
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, except when operating machinery
• Ability to sit, walk, push, pull, bend, climb and be able to move/lift up to 75 pounds regularly
• Ability to tolerate high and low temperature levels associated with outdoor working conditions
