Professional Painter

We are looking for a process-driven and experienced painter to join our team. You'll be responsible for visiting homes and businesses to perform interior and exterior paint jobs, including touch-ups on old paint, filling in drywall holes, and mixing paint colors. The ideal candidate has great communication skills, is familiar with scaffold assembly, and using hand and power tools, and understands the importance of maintaining a clean space. $60,000 - $100,000+

• Get surfaces ready to be painted by sanding away old paint and filling holes and cracks with putty
• Mix paint or stains to customer’s specification
• Coat painted surfaces with primer or sealer
• Clean up work area once project is finished
• Protect trim, floors, fixtures, and furniture from paint using drop cloths and covers

• To refinish vehicles to meet company standards of quality
• Ensure accurate color match by using a computerized mixing scale, color chips, spray-out cards, etc.
• Prepare damaged/repaired areas for painting
• Perform refinishing to customer vehicles to pre-loss condition and accurately follow Yach's work order, along with diagnosing and reporting any additional damage not on the work order
• Assist in the smooth flow of work through the shop
• Enjoy working in an auto body shop

• Physical strength, stamina to stand for long periods of time, and dexterity is required
• Applicants that are detail-oriented and possess strong time management and communications are preferred
• 2+ years work experience and completed apprenticeship is preferred, but not required
• Applicant must have valid driver’s license
• Experience with painting tools and techniques is a big plus, but we are willing to train on the job for motivated candidates

• 5+ years of experience. Automotive schooling preferred as well
