InfraHire is looking for a Licensed Journeyman Electrician in La Moille, Illinois.

The Licensed Journeyman Electrician will undertake electrical tasks related to turbine and compressor controls, such as installing electrical equipment/control panels, laying conduit, pulling wire, terminating connections, and installing end devices.

- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and rectify issues with electrical wiring, fixtures, control devices, and equipment.
- Interpret drawings, blueprints, electrical code specifications, and schematics to effectively diagnose, maintain, and rectify equipment.
- Identify, locate, and repair faulty systems and components using diagnostic tools.
- Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems, equipment, and components for preventative maintenance purposes.
- Test electrical systems and ensure circuit continuity in wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.
- Demonstrate proficiency in measuring, cutting, bending, threading, assembling, and installing rigid galvanized electrical conduit using appropriate tools like pipe threaders and conduit benders.
- Adhere to all relevant organizational and federal safety regulations, codes, and specifications in all work conducted.
Qualifications:
- Electrical Journeyman's License mandatory (from Any State).
- Minimum of 5 years of Oil & Gas/Industrial experience required post obtaining the license.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification.
- Preference for experience in Automation and Controls.
- Preference for experience in Turbomachinery.
- Proficient in wire pulling and termination.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
