FOH Manager / Banquet Manager

FOH Manager / Banquet Captain needed for local restaurant group!

Objective

Our client is searching for a Front of House Manager / Banquet Captain (hybrid positoin) with high standards who is genuinely guest-centric and possess great customer service skills. Someone who has a solid restaurant / food & beverage background within a corporate structure is essential. Strong financial and accounting skills are necessary, along with the ability to promote business and drive sales.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure the highest possible levels of Guest Service
• Weekly service audits of 5 servers and 3 hosts
• Hiring servers, hosts and guest assistants with GM approval
• Handle calls in a timely manner
• Distribute information in a timely manner to the appropriate areas of the restaurant
• Remain in contact with the client prior to event
• Greet client/host at the time of their event and introduce them to the lead server and Manager
• All post-event client follow-up
• Track and encourage repeat business
• Assist with developing plans to successfully market private dining for holiday parties, maximizing both space and revenue
• Develop relationships with key retailers to help promote (rehearsal dinners, engagement parties, company meetings and events)
• Work closely with management team to develop special events that will help market private dining
• Budget/Forecast for each fiscal period

Qualifications

• Candidates must possess a minimum of 3-5 years of current experience as a Restaurant Manager with high banquet business
• Proven success with leading teams and executing a high level of guest service
• Must be highly professional with high personal standards
• Must have the ability to execute several functions at once
• Candidates must possess impeccable customer service skills
• A solid restaurant / food & beverage background within a fine dining corporate structure is essential
• Ability to build strong, positive relationships with guests to ensure satisfaction and repeat business
• Strong desire to achieve
