Automotive Service Technician

We are seeking an experienced and quality-driven Automotive Technician. Our ideal candidate will be able to perform light repairs, such as CV axle, brakes, suspension, and steering components. You will be led and helped by a lead technician and also a 40-year automotive technician who spends time each week at all of our locations. This will allow you to continue to build upon your mechanical and technical skills. $17 - $25 hourly

• Establish processes for tracking diagnostics and system repairs, maintaining up-to-date manufacturer specifications, and more
• Follow all manufacturer specifications for vehicle system repairs to ensure optimum customer satisfaction and facilitate returning business
• Conduct routine maintenance, as needed, such as fluid level checks, tire rotations, brake pad replacement, or oil changes
• Use diagnostic equipment, technical expertise, and the vehicle’s integrated diagnostic systems to identify and determine the cause of malfunction codes
• Ensure a straightforward repair process by clearly communicating systems issues and repairs

• Excellent customer service and communications skills are necessary
• High school diploma or GED is required
• Completion of a certified post-secondary training program is mandatory; an associate degree is ideal
• National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence, or ASE certification is strongly desired
