This position is 1st Shift 05:00 AM-05:00 PM (Tue, Wed, Thurs)

Job Duties

1. Check safety stops at the start of the shift and record them in the emergency stop check sheet.

2. Check roll length weekly using a rolling length meter.

3. Check the schedule to determine the stock to be inspected.

4. Prepare stock for dusting, or paper interleaf as schedule requires.

5. Check material for width, gauge, hardness, and appearance.

6. Fill out the Bar code Stock ID ticket and include the mix date of the stock.

7. Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Good knowledge of all safety procedures while operating machinery

LANGUAGE ABILITY

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and work instructions.


MATH ABILITY

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers.


COMPUTER SKILLS

Incumbent needs a basic understanding of computers and printers
