Job Description

This role holds the responsibility of properly planning, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring the manufacturing process from materials allocation to the completion of the finished goods. Provides timely planning updates to the sales, management, and manufacturing as necessary to achieve manufacturing targets and timely delivery of the finished goods.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but are not limited to:

  • Partners with the sales, manufacturing, logistics and project management teams to elaborate, update production schedules to achieve target dates and project completions.
  • Elaborates and customizes capacity analysis to ensure project deliverables and achieve manufacturing and quality standards.
  • In conjunction with the leadership team and the project management teams, prioritizes, and adjusts the schedules in order to align the manufacturing schedules with the project deliverables.
  • Coordinates with purchasing, inventory management and the leadership teams to ensure the availability of raw materials to complete the manufacturing processes.
  • Communicates manufacturing schedule, changes, and challenges effectively to the leadership, sales, and manufacturing teams.
  • Analyzes historical production data, projects’ forecasts, and trends to optimize scheduling decisions.
  • Analyzes and communicates scheduling conflicts, disruptions, and delays promptly to all the parties in order to implement solutions and alignments to minimize a negative impact to the manufacturing processes and the projects.
  • Analyzes historical data and generates reports to highlight performance metrics and potential areas of improvements or risks.
  • Other duties assigned by the company in order to ensure the functionality and priorities of the business.

EDUCATION

  • High School Diploma or associate degree in business or related discipline.
  • Supply Certification is desirable but not required.

EXPERIENCE

  • Two to three years of experience in manufacturing as Production Manager or Production Scheduler

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, team members, customers, and the public.
