Senior Accounting Position With significant growth opportunities

Full Time Onsite Position in Crowley, LA

Duties:

• Accounts Payable (invoice input, payments, sales and use taxes, 1099 reporting)
• Call report and summary of deposits filed.
• Monthly financial statements and additional management reports
• Monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliation of General Ledger accounts and close-out entries
• CECL and other than temporary impairment reporting.
• Depreciation Schedule
• Prepaid and Expense Schedule
• Ad Valorem Tax / LAT 5 Reporting
• Requires government reporting
• Financial statements from the trust department
• Collect information for the external financial audit.
• Collect data for FDIC and OFI exams and visits.
• Assist internal audits as necessary.
• Federal income tax estimations and accruals
• Prepare information for and help the CFO.
• Maintain general ledger accounts and create new general ledger accounts.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of relevant, hands-on accounting experience
• Associates Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or similar field. (Bachelor preferred). An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience can be substituted
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently
