Nicewonder Farm & Vineyards, located in Bristol, Virginia, is excited to announce that we are seeking a Spa Attendant for our luxury spa opening Summer 2023. Ideal candidates will be customer service minded with an enthusiastic and adaptable personality. Availability to work a combination of weekdays and weekend days is a must as is the ability to be on your feet and moving for extended periods of time. General Purpose:

The Spa Attendant performs support tasks to maintain the smooth flow of operations at spas and wellness facilities, ensuring that clients receive optimal services. They will focus on keeping the cleanliness of different rooms and areas, preparing the facilities, sanitizing tools and equipment, monitoring the inventory of supplies, and assisting massage therapists as needed. They will also perform administrative support tasks such as keeping records of all transactions, processing supply requisition, handling calls and correspondence, arranging and confirming appointments, and collecting payments. Moreover, a spa attendant often assists customers, ensuring client satisfaction.

Essential Duties:

• Greet and assist guests in a courteous and prompt manner.
• Provide spa orientation to guests including changing rooms, relaxation space, and reception area.
• Explain our various services and treatments to guests, recommending those best suited to their needs or desires.
• Ensure appropriate inventory levels throughout the spa facility.
• Ensure safety procedures are being followed.
• Maintain the tidiness of the public areas of the spa and fitness center.
• Stock hospitality stations and linens
• Assist practitioners with room changeover as needed.
• Create a positive and memorable experience for our guests.

Requirements:

• Able to stand for an 8-hour shift
• Ability to lift 75 pounds.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma
