Responsibilities:

  • Electrical Troubleshooting and Repair:Identify and resolve electrical problems in both residential and commercial settings, ensuring safe and efficient operation of electrical systems.
  • Residential and Commercial Expertise:Apply your expertise to troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in a diverse range of spaces, catering to the unique requirements of residential and commercial environments.
  • Safety Compliance:Ensure adherence to safety protocols and standards while diagnosing and addressing electrical issues, mitigating risks and hazards.
  • Paperwork Management:Efficiently complete electronic or paper-based work orders, documenting your findings, repairs, and actions taken to maintain accurate records of the tasks performed.
  • Communication:Effectively communicate with clients, team members, and supervisors regarding the status of electrical issues, repairs, and any additional actions required.
  • Problem-Solving:Utilize your problem-solving skills to assess complex electrical problems, devise effective solutions, and implement repairs in a timely manner.
  • Technical Expertise:Apply your in-depth knowledge of electrical systems, components, and wiring to diagnose issues accurately and implement appropriate repairs.

Job requirements

  • Michigan State Electrical Licenserequired
  • Possess a valid driver's license
  • Electrical Code is amust
  • 5+years ofElectrical work experience for a contractor
  • Live within 40 Miles of Kalamazoo
  • Pass a background check and drug test upon hire
  • Must be authorized to work in the US
