POSITION:

Aerosol Plant Lead Person - 1st Shift

SUMMARY:

This position reports to the Aerosol Plant Supervisor. The tasks of this individual will include, but is not limited to:

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Lead daily operations in assigned area of the Aerosol Plant to achieve environmental and safety compliance of the facility, by understanding compliance regulations and working closely with the Operations and EHS Managers.

· Drive daily operations to ensure productivity objectives are achieved and to increase throughput of the Aerosol Plant.

· Work closely with Human Resources to coach and mentor Production Operators.

· Lead by setting the example in all aspects of operations.

· Effectively train personnel and ensure new hires are receiving the required training to prevent single point failures in production activities.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Ability to lead day-to-day operations of assigned area.

· Understanding and application of environmental and safety compliance obligations.

· Ability to communicate with the Production Team effectively and professionally.

· Ability to wear, and ensure employees in work area are wearing, personal protective equipment as required.

· Must be able to pass medical examination and pre-employment drug screening.

Additional SKILLS AND Experience:

· Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

· Ability to coach and mentor employees.

· DOT, RCRA, and HAZCOM training is a plus, but not required for employment. Training will be provided annually to all employees.
