Archbishop Rummel High School
Advancement Director

Founded in 1962, Archbishop Rummel High School is an all-male Diocesan high school under the auspices of the Archdiocese of New Orleans. Located in Metairie, Louisiana, Rummel seeks to develop young men of character who are willing to live out the motto of Archbishop Joseph Francis Rummel, "To give one's life for the sheep." The school is seeking a driven, mission-focused individual to lead its Advancement Department. The Director of Advancement will oversee all aspects of fundraising and constituent relations in close partnership with the Head of School. A detailed job description can be found below:

•Manages Advancement personnel and day to day operations of the department

•Ensures the mission of Archbishop Rummel High school is successfully carried out through the Advancement Department

•Serves as a department liaison between the Administration and Advancement Department

•Serves as department liaison between the Finance Department and Advancement Department
o Ensures the proper handling of collected funds by Advancement Department members in-person and online
o Oversees adherence to the department budget; ensures purchases are appropriately requested, approved, and logged
o Serves as the approval signature on departmental Finance Forms
o Reviews over all department contracts with the Head of School

•Ensures the successful donation of funds, sponsorships, and school item/technology donations
o Assists with all major asks with Head of School

•Ensures donor involvement and recognition through events and campaigns
o Events: Raider Club Donor Dinner, Celebrity Waiters, iGiveCatholic Day, and various club, sport, or organization fundraising events
o Initiates new fundraising events and initiatives
o Campaigns: Alumni Fund, Annual Raffle, Endowment Fund, Capital Campaigns

•Researches and submits grants and oversees spending and submitting final reports

•Creates an annual report in coordination with the Head of School and Director of Communications

•Oversees the endowment program and reporting

•Oversees the management, tracking, and updating of the Donor Database (Neon)

•Produces and oversees all thank you notes

•Oversees Memorial/Prayer cards
