Position: Shuttle Driver - Frozen Foods
Location: Rockmart, GA
Type: Full-time, Requires Layovers

Overview: We are currently seeking dedicated shuttle drivers to manage frozen food deliveries out of Rockmart, GA. This role is perfect for professionals skilled in the operation of both manual and automatic 53-foot reefers, adept with manual and electric pallet jacks as well as lift gates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shuttle frozen food items to and from box trucks, involving offloading from reefers.
• Efficiently handle product transfers using manual and electric hand-jacks, complemented by lift gate operations.
• Manage layover routes primarily in Tennessee, ensuring timely and safe delivery.

Candidate Profile:

• Must possess at least 18 months of commercial driving experience; experience in food service is not mandatory as training will be provided.
• Should be capable of operating both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
• High reliability and strong work ethic are essential, as dependable drivers are preferred for long-term scheduling.
• Residency near Rockmart, GA is crucial to ensure prompt availability.

Work Hours & Benefits:

• Shifts typically start between 12 PM and 2 PM; flexibility for weekend work and layovers is necessary.
• Competitive wage of $29 per hour with overtime pay after 40 hours per week.
• Comprehensive training provided to familiarize drivers with food-specific logistics and safety protocols.
