POSITION OVERVIEW:To perform radiographic and mammographic imaging examinations and procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision, but under the direction of the radiologist and/or ordering physician for diagnosis, and possibly treatment. Assumes responsibility for designated areas of department operation as trained and required. QUALIFICATIONS:Graduate of an accredited program for Radiologic TechnologyCertification in mammography requiredCurrently registered, or registry eligible, by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Currently holds an Iowa "Permit to Practice Diagnostic Radiography" (classification general ) from the Iowa Department of Public Health. Continuous Training: Must maintain continuing education standards to meet requirements of the "Permit to Practice" as set by the Iowa Department of Public Health as well as those required by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. HOURS:Full-time days. 8:00a - 4:30p. Contract start date 06/03/2024.NO WEEKENDS, NO HOLIDAYSPay period: Monday through Sunday.Hospital Employment & Health Requirements Checklist (first-day instructions will not be sent until all items are cleared)Please note if the traveler accepts this offer, the agency must provide proof of the following Employment and Health Requirements no later than (5) FIVE business days prior to their contract start date.
