Team Member | Bongo Java Coffee Shop - Nashville BNA

We are looking for dynamic, professional baristas to join our Bongo Java Team! Show us your hospitality while you bring a touch of Nashville and essentials to guests of the airport.

Bongo Java is based in Nashville, TN, and recently celebrated the milestone of being in business for 26 years. Bongo World serves 100% organic, fair trade coffee at all of its cafes. With a strong showing of local vendors, it’s a great place to experience Nashville without having to leave the airport.

Shift Details:

Open availability to work an 8.5+ hour shift between the hours of 4 am - 4 pm or 12 pm - close

WHAT WE CAN COUNT ON FROM YOU

• Minimum one year customer service or barista experience preferred
• Airport or similar venue retail experience strongly preferred
• Ability to engage, inspire, and effectively influence people
• Flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule, including long hours, weekends, holidays, with ability to stay to late or come in early during airport related weather delays and other emergency situations
• Attention to detail and excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to twist, bend and stoop to retrieve items from floor, shelves, racks and hooks as well as place items on floor, shelves, racks and hooks
• Ability to push/pull receiving equipment. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs at floor level and above shoulder height
• Ability to work at a safe and steady pace
• Must be able to pass a background check, and Airport Badging process
