Overview:

Duties:

- Perform a variety of barbering services including haircuts, shaves, beard trims, and styling

- Provide personalized consultations to clients to understand their desired look and style

- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in barbering

- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards of all tools, equipment, and workstations

- Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality services and exceptional customer service

- Manage appointment bookings and maintain accurate records of client preferences and services provided

- Educate clients on proper hair care and grooming techniques

- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and professional salon atmosphere

Requirements:

- Valid cosmetology or barber license

- Proven experience as a Barber or hairstylist

- Proficient in various barbering techniques including hair cutting, shaving, beard trimming, and styling

- Knowledge of color theory for hair dyeing and highlighting is a plus

- Familiarity with salon software such as MINDBODY is preferred

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work well in a team environment

- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills

Note: Retail math, mentoring, nail care, sanitate, hair threading, straight razor skills are highly valued but not required.
