Diesel Mechanic $5000 SIGN ON BONUS

Experienced Diesel Technician $5,000 SIGN ON BONUS!

Location: Peosta, IA

Work Schedule: 10-hour shift

Monday – Friday 5:00am–3:30pm or 6:30am-5:00 pm

Pay: $25.00 – $39.00 per hour depending on work experience

Responsibilities:

• Make major and minor repairs on trucks and trailers, including but not limited to: engine repairs and tune ups, fuel systems, electrical systems, transmission work, cooling systems, chassis repairs, brake work.
• Perform regular and preventative maintenance including inspections, oil changes, etc.
• Perform diagnostic tests.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs performed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the shop.

Required and Preferred qualifications are:

Must have at least 2 years of experience as a Diesel Technician working on CLASS 8 vehicles.

• Cummins, and Detroit Certified candidates are given top hiring priority.
• CDL preferred.
• Must have necessary tools to perform position responsibilities.
• Steady work experience.
• Ability to lift 50lbs or more.
• Bonus points if you have previous engine overhaul experience.
