Senior Millwright

Job Summary

We are looking for individual to join our client’s team as Senior Millwright.

Job Description

• Install, align, replace, repair, adjust, inspect, and troubleshoots: Motors, Couplings, Belts, Gearboxes, Pillow-block & Flange-type Bearings, Chains, Belt Conveying systems, Bucket elevators, Hydraulic systems, Drag Conveyors

Skills Required

• Understand and comply with all government and company health regulations
• Ability to perform repairs with minimal supervision
• Ability to find correct replacement components for fixed assets in warehouse
• Ability to lead jobs and work with junior millwrights
• Actively support Reliability through Preventive, Predictive and Proactive
• Proficient with uses, requirements, & inspections for Fall Restraint, Fall Arrest, Harnesses, Lanyards, etc.
• Different types of Electrical Hazards
• Relationship of Exposure to Hazard and Injury
• Construction and operation of mechanical equipment
• Confined Space & Permitting
• Hotwork & Permitting
• Lock out tag out
• Elevated Work
• Is proficient on use of precision tools/precision-based maintenance (FLIR gun, Laser alignment tool, Belt tension tools, Sheave alignment laser tool, Stroboscope, Dial calipers, Micrometer, SKF method, Feeler gauges)

Additional Requirements

• Shift position: 7 am - 7 pm. However, will need to land them on day shift until they become familiar with the plant.
