Continuous Improvement/Manufacturing Engineer

We have an immediate need for a SIX SIGMA GREEN BELT performance driven professional to implement lean processes at our Peru, IN facility to help us achieve cost savings and improve productivity.

Position Summary:

The Continuous Improvement/Manufacturing Engineer is responsible to identify and improve the outcomes of manufacturing, operational, and business processes to improve efficiencies, reduce costs and increase customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• MUST BE AUTHORIZED TO WORK IN THE US WITHOUT REQUIRING SPONSORSHIP NOW OR IN THE FUTURE.
• Minimum of four years’ experience in manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Project management experience required.
• Proficiency in Lean and Six Sigma Practices, and ISO-9001 and 17025 experience
• Must have strong problem solving and decision making skills.
• Ability to prioritize workload and self-manage projects, handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Must be able to work well with subordinates, co-workers, and management and gain trust at all levels.
• Take initiative to identify and anticipate needs and make recommendation for implementation.
