Pridestaff is currently seeking a CNC Set-up Operator for a manufacturing company located in Montclair, CA. This is a full-time, contract to permanent position with opportunity to grow. Please see job requirements below to be considered.
- Pay Rate: $20-25 for CNC Set-up and Operation/$25-$29 for CNC Programming experience (Depending on experience and Skill level)
- Shift: Monday – Friday, 1st shift - hours TBD
Job Duties/Requirements: In this position you will hold the responsibility of setting up and operating CNC Mill and Lathe machines. We are a team-focused shop. This position requires a hard-working capable individual with the ability to multi-task. Ideal candidate must be able to work well with others and have eye for quality.
Tasks:
- Perform all machining tasks and other tasks as assigned.
- Set up jobs according to instructions from travelers to meet blueprint dimensions.
- Ability to inspect parts.
- Responsible for quality of machined parts.
- Perform routine machine maintenance.
- Clean machines after each job is competed.
- Run multiple machines.
Qualifications:
- Previous CNC operation experience
- Previous experience in set-up
- CNC Programming experience highly preferred
- Blueprint reading
- Versed using: Calipers, Micrometers, Gauges, etc.
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
