Health Consultant Compensation

• The pay for this position per hour is $34.13/hr
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Health Consultant Highlights

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required availability for this position is Monday through Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm EST.

Health Consultant Responsibilities

• Responsible for the review and evaluation of clinical information and documentation.
• Reviews documentation and interprets data obtained form clinical records or systems to apply appropriate clinical criteria and policies in line with regulatory and accreditation requirements for member and/or provider issues.
• Works Potential Quality of Care cases across all lines of business Commercial and Medicare
• Independently coordinates the clinical resolution with internal/external clinician support as required.
• Reviews documentation and evaluates Potential Quality of Care issues based on clinical policies and benefit determinations.
• Considers all documented system information as well as any additional records/data presented to develop a determination or recommendation.

Health Consultant Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or non-licensed master level clinician required, with either degree being in behavioral health or human services preferred (psychology, rehabilitation, social work, marriage and family therapy, counseling).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience Position
• Must have 2+ years of experience in case management.
