Responsibilities for this Position NDT Tech Lead US-AR-Hampton Job ID: 2024-30678 Type: Full Time # of Openings: 2 Category: Quality Assurance/Safety Camden, AR Overview Designs, develops, and implements nondestructive testing (NDT) to evaluate the properties and conformance of a material, component, or system without causing damage. Records, analyzes, and reports test results. Maintains & follows test documentation in accordance with applicable regulations and requirements. Responsibilities Essential Functions:Set up and standardize equipment, process parts, interpret and evaluate for acceptance or rejection, and document results. Develop specific calibrations and tests. Document results in accordance with the specification. Identifies errors and defects in equipment. Use of ultrasound, radiography, or other techniques during the testing process. Conduct system performance checks in accordance with the applicable process standard. Maintain or develop procedures, policies, and techniques as necessary. Train subordinate personnel in the various NDT disciplines and techniques. Maintain documentation for training and experience hours. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS : (including proficiencies, skills, knowledge, certifications) Required Education: Vocational/Technical Training Degree Discipline/Major: Technical school or an applicable skilled trade program Additional Certifications: NAS 410 Certification Level 2: State issued industrial radiographer certificate - Ability to achieve Level I or Level 2 certification in alignment with NAS 410 standards, through education, training, and testing, and perform the required Level 2 requirements Years and Area of Experience (required for the role): 4-6 Years Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Technical expertise. Problem-solving skills. Time management skills. Manual dexterity.
